A new way to tap and pay! Timmins Transit is introducing the electronic fare collection system, which allows contactless payment by tapping a reloadable card when boarding your Timmins Transit bus.
** Please note that regular cash fare will continue to be accepted as payment.

Pay YOUR Way with Timmins Transit
The Timmins Transit Pay YOU Way fare card is a reloadable card that works with our updated electronic fare service. The Pay YOUR Way card allows contactless payment. Riders tap their card when boarding, making it fast and convenient to board a transit bus.
With your Pay YOUR Way card, you can purchase a single ride, 10 rides, or a monthly pass.
Disposable Pay YOUR Way cards are also available and can be loaded with a specific amount.
Pick up your Pay YOUR Way! card
You only need a single, reloadable Pay YOUR Way! card to board a Timmins Transit bus. Your first Pay YOUR Way card has an activation fee of:

It's important to register your card so you can disable it if it is lost, and so we can contact you if it is turned in.
Starting this January, you can pick up, activate, load, and reload your Pay YOUR Way card at the Timmins Transit Terminal on Spruce St. S.
Register your card online
When you register your Pay YOUR Way card online, your card links to an online account. This means you can easily reload money onto it from any device with internet access. If you card is lost or stolen, you can cancel it and transfer the balance onto a new card.

- Register your card online and add money or purchase your monthly pass through your online account
- Use the convenient Pay YOUR way kiosk at the Timmins Transit Terminal on Spruce St. S.
- Download the app and add money or purchase a monthly pass using your smartphone
Use E-cash to load money for single trips.
Use E-Rides to purchase 10 rides.
Use E-Pass to buy your monthly pass.

*** Please note that monthly passes purchased for January 2025 can be used until the end of the month. A reloadable card will be used starting February 2025. Any 10-ride tickets already purchased can continue to be used.
