The new 192-bed Home will replace the current 177-bed facility, with more room and improved accessibility. Construction is underway at the corner of Jubilee Ave. and Theriault Blvd.
The redevelopment of the Golden Manor is a significant capital project for The City of Timmins. Adding long-term care capacity will not only increase access to long-term care, reduce waitlists, and ease hospital crowding issues, but will significantly improve the quality of life for current and future residents of the Golden Manor.
