Project Details:
City Council approved an increase to the annual paving budget at the April 25 council meeting. The City's Engineering Dept. will be adding to the confirmed 6.0 kilometers of grind and pave and 7.5 kilometers of surface treatment on rural roads.
The roads are chosen based on the City's 2019 Roads Needs Study, which have ranked the roads based on a Pavement Condition Index (PCI), and in consultation with Public Works.
This year's contract will also include asphalt resurfacing of three municipal parking lots: Third Ave., Cedar St., and Elmar Lot on Pine St.
