Mandate

The City of Timmins’ Information Technology Division, organizationally-situated within the Corporate Services Department, is charged with the responsibility of providing I/T facilities and services to all of the business units within the City’s corporate structure. In addition to the standard municipal business units we have I/T responsibility for Timmins Transit, Timmins Victor M. Power Airport, Timmins Public Library, Golden Manor Home for the Aged and the Timmins Police Service.

We carry out this mandate guided by our mission statement: To Research, Promote, Provide And Support The Effective And Efficient Use Of The Technology Employed By The Corporation Of The City Of Timmins.

  • Fibre optic network infrastructure between operational sites
