Golden Manor

The Golden Manor Home for the Aged is a 177-bed Municipal Long-term care facility which provides permanent residency and offers one short term respite care bed. At the Golden Manor, all residents are supported to maintain a meaningful and continuing relationship with their families, other residents and the community. A variety of activities form the basis for an active and balanced life within a supportive and safe environment.

For Permanent residents, rates are based on government guidelines and are determined according to the individual’s financial situation.

The Golden Manor is funded by the provincial Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care, resident co-payment and the City of Timmins.

Charitable donations are greatly appreciated and can be made to honour a special occasion, as a tribute to a special person, or in memory of a loved one or friend. Contributions to the Golden Manor are essential to offset the costs of services and programs which enhance the quality of life for our residents. All support received will directly benefit the residents we serve.

Community Home Support: Services for Seniors

The Community Home Support Program offers an Adult Day Program, Transportation, and a Home Maintenance Program (snow shoveling and lawn care).
