Tax Certificate Requests

The 2020/2021 fee for a tax certificate is $85.00, this fee is subject to change each year in accordance with Schedule 'H' in our User Fee By-Law. Please see By-Law 2020-8488 for 2021-2025 rates.

Tax certificates also include water & sewer information as well as any local improvement charges.

Please allow 24 hours processing time for all requests. 

All requests are to be submitted to the Tax and Utilities Department at City Hall by e-mail to cashiers@timmins.ca

Change of Ownership Documents

The Tax and Utilities Department require that all change of ownership requests are submitted with a copy of the Land Registry Office transfer document. Requests for changes are applied to both the property tax and utilities (water and sewer) accounts, unless otherwise directed.

All requests are to be submitted to the Tax and Utilities Department at City Hall by e-mail to cashiers@timmins.ca, or by regular post:
