The City of Timmins' sanitary system consists of approximately 191,000 metres of sanitary gravity sewer and forcemains. This contract will focus on rehabilitating 6,000 metres of sanitary sewer and rehabilitating 27 sanitary sewer manholes.
The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate pipes that are now candidates for lining as part of the City's Sewer Lining and Manhole Rehabilitation contract. Lining was chosen over reconstruction because it minimizes restoration from excavation.
