The City of Timmins sanitary sewer system consists of approximately 185,000 metres of sanitary gravity sewer and forcemains. This contract will focus its efforts in the South Porcupine areas of Pump Station 2 and Pump Station 3 as well as Timmins South.
The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate pipes that are now candidates for lining as part of our Sewer Lining and Manhole Rehabilitation contract. Lining was chosen over reconstruction because it minimizes the restoration due to excavation.
