This year’s paving contract will complete approximately 5.8 kilometers of grind and pave on various roadway lanes throughout the city and 5.6 kilometers of surface treatment on rural roads. Paving will also be competed on the Airport Rd. multiuse path that was constructed in 2021.
These roads were chosen based on the City’s 2019 "Roads Needs Study", which ranked the roads based on a Pavement Condition Index (PCI).
This year the contract quantities include paving of infrastructure repairs that were completed by Public Utilities and paving of the base course on the St Jean Ave. extension.
