The City of Timmins Public Works is declaring the end of the Significant Weather Event effective Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. that was issued under the provisions of the Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways (O.Reg 239).

A natural gas line has been severed during repair of a watermain break in the area of Bonaventure Dr.

Natural gas service has been turned off. Enbridge Gas is currently on-site.

Approximately 200 homes will be without natural gas service while repairs are being made. Contractors are working to have service restored quickly. Currently, the City of Timmins does not have an estimated time of restoration.
