The City of Timmins Environmental Services Department wishes to advise the public of Emergency Watermain Break within the following area:

Timmins Area:
College St. between Jubilee St. West and Westmount Blvd.
University St. between Jubilee St. West and Westmount Blvd.

Date and Time of Disruption:
March 3, 2025, from 10am until 10pm

All homes and businesses in the affected area could have coloured water and/or lower water pressure. It is recommended not to drink or wash laundry with the discoloured water. While it is not harmful to your health, it can stain laundry. Should this occur, it is advised to turn on the COLD water tap closest to the source (usually your laundry tub tap) and let it run for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the colour has returned to normal.

Environmental Services would like to thank residents for their patience and cooperation during this work.

The Archie Dillon Sportsplex pool will be closed to the public on Monday, March 17 to allow for the installation of accessibility door openers leading into the change rooms from the pool deck.

Regular public swim times will resume on Tuesday, March 18, following the transition to the spring swim schedule after March Break.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve accessibility at our facility.
